Surah Taghabun in English Translation+Transliteration

Surah Taghabun in Arabic: التغابن has 18 verses. It is the 64th Surah in 28th Para of the Holy Quran. The title of this Surah means mutual loss and gain. We will read Surah Taghabun in English with translation along with the transliteration here.

The verses in Surah At Taghabun aim to co-establishes the foundations of faith and to create a strong influence on the Islamic concept.

Surah At Taghabun in English Translation And Roman Transliteration

أَعُوْذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطٰانِ الرَّجِيْمِ

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Aa’oozoobillahi Minash-shaitaanir Rajeem,

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

I seek refuge in Allah from the Shaitan, the accursed.

In The Name Of ALLAH, Most Gracious, Most Most Merciful

1. يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ لَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ وَلَهُ ٱلۡحَمۡدُۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ

1. Yusabbihu Lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardi lahul mulku wa lahul hamd, wa Huwa ‘alaa kulli shai-in Qadeer

1. Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting ALLAH. To Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs (all) praise, and He is over all things competent.

2. هُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُمۡ فَمِنكُمۡ كَافِرٞ وَمِنكُم مُّؤۡمِنٞۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

2. Huwal lazee khalaqakum faminkum kaafirunw wa min kum mu’A min ; wallaahu bimaa ta’A maloona Baseer

2. It is He who created you, and among you is the disbeliever, and among you is the believer. And ALLAH, of what you do, is Seeing.

3. خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمۡ فَأَحۡسَنَ صُوَرَكُمۡۖ وَإِلَيۡهِ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ

3. Khalaqas samaawaati wal arza bilhaqqi wa sawwarakum fa ahsana suwarakum wa ilaihil maseer

3. He created the heavens and earth in truth and formed you and perfected your forms, and to Him is the (final) destination.

4. يَعۡلَمُ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعۡلِنُونَۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُور

4. Ya’Alamu maa fis samaawaati wal arzi wa ya’alamu maa tusirroona wa maa tu’a linoon; wallaahu ‘Aleemum bizaatis sudoor

4. He knows what is within the heavens and earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare. And Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts.

5. أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ نَبَؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَبۡلُ فَذَاقُواْ وَبَالَ أَمۡرِهِمۡ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ

5. Alam ya’tikum naba’ul lazeena kafaroo min qablu fazaaqoo wabaala amrihim wa lahum ‘azaabun aleem

5. Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment.

6. ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُۥ كَانَت تَّأۡتِيهِمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَقَالُوٓاْ أَبَشَرٞ يَهۡدُونَنَا فَكَفَرُواْ وَتَوَلَّواْۖ وَّٱسۡتَغۡنَى ٱللَّهُۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٞ

6. Zaalika bi annahoo kaanat ta’teehim Rusuluhum bilbaiyinaati faqaaloo a basharuny yahdoonanaa fakafaroo wa tawallaw, wastaghnal laah, wallaahu ghaniyyun hameed

6. That is because their messengers used to come to them with clear evidences, but they said, “Shall human beings guide us?” and disbelieved and turned away. And ALLAH dispensed (with them), and ALLAH is Free of need and Praiseworthy.

7. زَعَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ أَن لَّن يُبۡعَثُواْۚ قُلۡ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّي لَتُبۡعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلۡتُمۡۚ وَذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٞ

7. Za ‘amal lazeena kafarooo al-lany yub’asoo, Qul balaa wa rabbee latub’asunna summa latunabba’unna bimaa ‘amiltum, wa zaalika ‘alal laahi yaseer

7. Those who disbelieve have claimed that they will never be resurrected. SaySay, “Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected, then you will surely be informed of what you did. And that, for ALLAH, is easy.”

8. فَـَٔامِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلنُّورِ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنزَلۡنَاۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ

8. Fa-aaminoo billaahi wa rasoolihee wannooril lazeee anzalnaa; wallaahu bima ta’amaloona khabeer

8. So believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Quran which We have sent down. And ALLAH is Acquainted with what you do.

9. يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُكُمْ لِيَوْمِ الْجَمْعِ ۖ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ يَوْمُ التَّغَابُنِ ۗ وَمَن يُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ وَيُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۚ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ

9. Yawma yajma’ukum li yawmil jam’i zaalika yawmut taghaabun; wa many-y’umim billaahi wa ya’amal saalihany yukaffir ‘anhu sayyi aatihee wa yudkhilhu jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaaa abadaa, zaalikal fawzul ‘azeem

9. The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly – that is the Day of Deprivation. And whoever believes in ALLAH and does righteousness – He will remove from him his misdeeds and admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment.

10. وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ

10. Wallazeena kafaroo wa kazzaboo bi aayaaatinaaa ulaaa’ika as-haabun naari khaalideena feehaa wa bi’a sal maseer

10. But the ones who disbelieved and denied Our verses – those are the companions of the Fire, abiding eternally therein, and wretched is the destination.

11. مَآ أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَمَن يُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ يَهۡدِ قَلۡبَهُۥۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٞ

11. Maaa asaaba mim musee batin illaa bi-iznil laah; wa mai yu’mim billaahi yahdi qalbah, wallaahu bikulli shai’in Aleem

11. No disaster strikes except by permission of ALLAH. And whoever believes in ALLAH – He will guide his heart. And ALLAH is Knowing of all things.

12. وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱلرَّسُولَۚ فَإِن تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَىٰ رَسُولِنَا ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ

12. Wa atee’ul laaha wa atee’ur Rasoola, fa in tawallaitum fa innamaa ‘alaa Rasoolinal balaaghul mubeen

12. And obey Allah and obey the Messenger, but if you turn away – then upon Our Messenger is only (the duty of) clear notification.

13. ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ

13. Allaahu laaa ilaaha illaa Howa; wa ‘alal laahi falyata wakkalil mu’minoon

13. ALLAH – there is no deity except Him. And upon ALLAH let the believers rely.

14. يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِنَّ مِنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِكُمۡ وَأَوۡلَٰدِكُمۡ عَدُوّٗا لَّكُمۡ فَٱحۡذَرُوهُمۡۚ وَإِن تَعۡفُواْ وَتَصۡفَحُواْ وَتَغۡفِرُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٌ

14. Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanooo inna min azwaaji kum wa awlaadikum ‘aduwwal lakum fahzaroohum, wa in ta’afoo wa tasfahoo wa taghfiroo fa innal laaha ghafoorur Raheem

14. O you who have believed, indeed, among your wives and your children are enemies to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon and overlook and forgive – then indeed, ALLAH is Forgiving and Merciful.

15. إِنَّمَآ أَمۡوَٰلُكُمۡ وَأَوۡلَٰدُكُمۡ فِتۡنَةٞۚ وَٱللَّهُ عِندَهُۥٓ أَجۡرٌ عَظِيمٞ

15. Innamaa amwaalukum wa awlaadukum fitnah, wallaahu ‘indahooo ajrun ‘azeem

15. Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and ALLAH has with Him a great reward.

16. فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ وَٱسۡمَعُواْ وَأَطِيعُواْ وَأَنفِقُواْ خَيۡرٗا لِّأَنفُسِكُمۡۗ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفۡسِهِۦ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ

16. Fattaqul laaha mastata’a tum wasma’oo wa atee’oo wa anfiqoo khairal li anfusikum, wa mai-yooqa shuh ha nafsihee fa-ulaaa’ika humul muflihoon

16. So fear ALLAH as much as you are able and listen and obey and spend (in the way of ALLAH); it is better for your selves. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul – it is those who will be the successful.

17. إِن تُقۡرِضُواْ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنٗا يُضَٰعِفۡهُ لَكُمۡ وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيمٌ

17. In tuqridul laaha qarzan hasanai yuzaa ‘ifhu lakum wa yaghfir lakum; wallaahu Shakoorun Haleem

17. If you loan ALLAH a goodly loan, He will multiply it for you and forgive you. And ALLAH is Most Appreciative and Forbearing.

18. عَٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ

18. ‘Aalimul-Ghaibi wash-shahaadatil ‘Azeezul Hakeem

18. Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
